How Long Will It Take to Complete a Tour of the Waterford Greenway?

The Waterford Greenway route can be done in either direction, and you can choose to do the entire 46km or just half of it, depending on your fitness level and time constraints. At a leisurely pace, the full route takes approximately 5 hours, while half takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours. And with pitstops along the way - such as our shop in Kilmacthomas beside the favourite Greenway Grill, you'll have plenty of opportunities to refuel and take a break. 


Sightseeing & Places Not to Be Missed

The Viaduct in Kilmacthomas is a must-see, just a couple of minutes away from our shop, making it a great spot for an Instagram shot. Between Kilmacthomas and Dungarvan, you'll be transported into nature's utopia, with towering walls lined with 50 shades of green, as you go through the Ballyvoylle Tunnel and out into the fresh sea air. The beautiful seaside town of Dungarvan awaits you at the end of the journey, making it a perfect destination to end your bike tour.
